The old-school cutting system is easier to manufacture then modern reel mower helping to keep the price tag lower, but over the long run will cost you more time, money and frustration to maintain. The handle is easy to assemble – maybe a little too easy. At times it can feel loose and not well-secured. We recommend using a wrench or pliers to tighten the wing nuts even further to fix this problem. But be careful – they are plastic!
